Using black soldier flies to convert piggery waste to fertiliser

This project explores the potential for black soldier fly technology to convert piggery waste into a valuable by-product; the flies feed on piggery waste and their resulting larvae and excrement is protein-rich.

The intention is to convert this into a low-cost, tailored, slow release fertiliser product.
