On Tuesday 16 May, four representatives from South Australia completed the Liaison-Livestock Industry (LLI) training program run by Animal Health Australia and PIRSA in Adelaide. This program prepares industry personnel to be the bridge between their industry and the Incident Management Team during an Emergency Animal Disease (EAD) incident. Appointed by APL in an incident affecting the pork industry, LLI personnel represent our industry through the response and support activities — providing industry perspective, essential advice and guidance.   If you would like to be considered for future LLI training opportunities in your state, please register your interest with the APL Policy Team. Further information on LLI training is available on AHA’s website.
