Pork producers are under increasing pressure to produce a consistent, high-quality pork product, while enduring fluctuating domestic prices, and competing with international industries with lower production costs.
The use of precision livestock technology (PLF) provides an opportunity to be more precise and consistent in pig production, and so reduce costs.
