To qualify for an APL scholarship, applicants must be Australian citizens or permanent residents, and all applications must be received through the standard APL application process ( PigNet ).

Undergraduate Research Scholarship
Undergraduate Research Scholarships are available to students in the latter stages of their undergraduate degree for the purpose of undertaking small industry-based projects or for research leading to an Honours project.

Undergraduate Industry Scholarship
Undergraduate Industry Scholarships are available to students enrolled in a certificate, diploma or applied degree, to undertake work experience on a piggery or with a service company operating within the pork industry, ie. veterinarians, nutritionists, genetics companies, feed manufacturers and management consultants.

Ron Pollard Undergraduate Scholarship Award
The Ron Pollard Undergraduate Scholarship Award is available to undergraduates to investigate areas of relevance to the pork industry that may also stimulate a longer-term interest in a research career. This award will provide the opportunity for an individual of high potential to experience research first-hand by working on a research project for an extended period.

Applications for the Undergraduate Research Scholarship must be accompanied by a Referee Report.
