APL invests in R&D so as to enhance the opportunities for sustainable growth of the Australian pork industry.

PigNet - APL research applications are received through PigNet, a research management system which enables researchers to submit their proposals online.

Travel Award - travel is an essential component of the process of R&D and technology transfer.  Furthermore, reports and experiences from such travel are important for APL's program and the industry at large.  Each year funds are allocated to support travel to conferences and workshops where it can be shown to be of benefit to the Australian pork industry.
