The APL Marketing Division is responsible for export and domestic marketing initiatives supporting the pork industry.  The marketing initiatives include ongoing development of marketing strategies including consumer, food service and retail segments, to build a strong presence of Australian pork in the marketplace in the future.

Foodservice

Through the PorkStar program, Australian Pork acknowledges chefs who have recognised the qualities of pork by putting it on their menus. Simultaneously the PorkStar program wishes to inspire and attract chefs  to put pork on the menu and the value pork can offer to their foodservice repertoire. Brand Campaign 2010
Get Some Pork on Your Fork” is back!  Television, radio and online advertising commenced February 1, 2010 bringing back the much loved tag-line.  The campaign aims to reinforce pork’s key attributes i.e. great tasting and low in fat / nutritious.  It’s reinforced by a national butcher point of sale campaign that features food photography from the TV commercial as a point of continuity.
