Producers

The Producer Innovation Awards have been established by APL to assist the Australian pig industry remain at the forefront of innovation.

Australian producers can use these Awards to cover some of the costs and risks associated with adopting new ideas and practices. 

Group Demonstration Awards - intended to enable individual producers/industry players with common interests and problems to form an association with other individuals with similar interests in order to address issues associated with on-farm production or key industry issues.

Distinguished Visitor Awards - primarily aimed at those industry personnel who are recognised for their contribution to their respective national/international industry speciality and would potentially be able to extend that expertise for the benefit of the Australian pork industry.

Commercial Validation Awards - to encourage pig producers to validate new information/technologies that could potentially improve the profitability and sustainability of the Australian pork industry.
