Undergraduate Scholarships

APL scholarships support students interested in pursuing a career in the pork industry.

Undergraduate Research Scholarship
Undergraduate Research Scholarships are available to students in the latter stages of their undergraduate degree for the purpose of undertaking small industry-based projects or for research leading to an Honours project.

Undergraduate Industry Scholarship
Undergraduate Industry Scholarships are available to students enrolled in a certificate, diploma or applied degree to undertake work experience on a piggery or with a service company operating within the pork industry, eg. veterinarians, nutritionists, management consultants etc.

Ron Pollard Undergraduate Scholarship Award
The Ron Pollard Undergraduate Scholarship Award is awarded to a high calibre undergraduate student to foster their interest in pursuing a career in the pork industry.

Proposed projects need to be aligned with APL's current R&D priorities and all applications to be lodged through PigNet using the Award/Scholarship Application. Referee Reports should be submitted with your application.
