Australian Pork

Researchers

APL invests in R&D which enhances opportunities for sustainable growth of the Australian pork industry.

Call for Tenders

APL will call for research proposals in line with priorities set by the R&D Specialist Groups and approved by the R&D Advisory Committee. In consultation with the Specialist Group R&I Managers, researchers are encouraged to submit proposals to address these priorities.

R&D Priorities for 2013-2014 have been approved by the R&D Advisory Committee.

A Call for Tenders for R&D projects to address these priorities was made on 24 April 2013 and will close on 29 May 2013. All applications to be lodged through PigNet.

Travel Awards

Travel Awards play a key role in increasing research sector capacity through assisting Australian researchers to attend, and in some cases present papers at, recognised international research forums. They also enable researchers to keep abreast of leading edge research in their field and network with overseas colleagues.

Proposed projects need to be aligned with APL's current R&D priorities and all applications to be lodged through PigNet.
