Funding Opportunities

APL funds organisations to undertake R&D arising out of the R&D process as well as producers, researchers and students to enhance industry capability.

Researchers

Researchers may submit proposals following calls for research during May-July, or on a needs basis, in line with APL's R&D priorities. In addition, Travel Awards can be obtained to assist researchers with attending international research forums and interaction with overseas colleagues.

Producers

The various producer awards support information gathering and help offset costs and risks associated with adopting new technologies and practices.

Students

APL's scholarship program supports undergraduate and postgraduate students interested in pursuing a career in the pork industry.
